Our Approach

Our therapists believe that the present is inextricably linked to the past. While the circumstances of the current moment do influence how you feel and deserve attention, we believe that past experiences and relationships play an outsized role in how you respond to the now. If the present is the tip of the iceberg, then the past is the much larger part below the surface.

Understanding the reasons and contexts of why you engage in a particular behavior or feel a certain way is essential for real change and growth.

This approach will not only ease your current distress and shift problematic behavior, but it also affords you the opportunity for more. Our therapists prioritize going deeper than your current symptoms to facilitate increased self-understanding, a cohesive and consistent sense of self, more fulfilling relationships, more emotional capacity, and a greater sense of meaning in your life.

Our providers emphasize
depth-oriented, research-based psychotherapies in order to achieve long-lasting results.

Madeline Elledge, LMHC

Therapist

As an existential therapist, I believe in the innate human drive toward one’s own growth. Understanding our lives in the context of meaning and narrative cultivates space and fluidity within our identities as we move beyond static being and into an open exploration of the never-ending process of becoming.

My intent is to walk with you as we find comfort in the discomfort of uncertainty, learn how to hold opposing truths simultaneously, and suspend the objective as we lean into the richness of your unique subjectivity.

I offer individual, couples, and family therapy. I also provide EMDR therapy.

I work with individuals and relationships, and have experience working with clients in diverse relationship dynamics, including kink and consensual non-monogamy.
